Shipping Policy

We currently charge a flat rate shipping fee of $12 for orders up to $40, a flat rate shipping fee of $15 for orders over $40, and a flat rate shipping fee of $19.95 for orders over $100. These rates apply to orders within the continental US only. We sadly had to abandon our free shipping offer over $55 when UPS decided to change its policy of dimensional weight (cost driven by weight rather than box size) and adjusted it to calculations where package size now determines the cost more than weight. Our pillows are not only heavy but air cannot be squeezed out of them (this is great for neck support! But not so great for packaging) and therefore our boxes are relatively big. UPS’s policy change has added an average cost of $8-$20+ to each package, depending on the box size & destination zone. We sincerely apologize for these shipping fees! Please know that we pay considerably more for shipping per box than we charge our customers. We have not raised product prices since UPS changed its policy and are determined not to do so in the foreseeable future. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Products are shipped from our warehouse in Phoenix, Arizona, within normally 2-4 business days. During periods of unexpectedly high order volume, shipping times can be delayed. We would like to emphasize that we are 100% dedicated to the organic sourcing of our hulls. Not only are we committed to organic fillings but we use only American grown hulls (buckwheat hulls, millet hulls). The drawback is that there is only one USDA certified farm in the US that can provide domestic, organic hulls. Whenever shipments from this farm are delayed we always wait it out, we will not switch to imported hulls and never, ever to non-organic filling. In such cases we will notify our customers and make up for the inconvenience of the delay with free products that we include in everyone's package.

We encourage you to let us know if your order is time sensitive. We ship both by UPS as well as the postal service, depending on the size of the box. Please be advised that shipping to the east coast takes 4-5 business days via UPS Ground.

Pillow Company ships to addresses in the 50 United States, the U.S. Territories, U.S. military destinations (such as APO, AE, and FPO), as well as international destinations. When your order ships via UPS, an automated email will be generated by UPS with your tracking number. You can track your shipment and review the expected delivery date.

Orders to U.S. military destinations (APO, AE, FPO) are shipped via Priority Mail (postal service).

Our shopping cart calculates shipping charges for UPS Ground/FedEx Ground only. Hawaii and Alaska zip codes will automatically generate a postal shipping charge, however, APO/AE zip codes are not recognized by the system. Please note that ALL shipping charges to APO/AE addresses have to be re-calculated by our staff for priority mail shipping and that in most cases additional charges will apply.

Return Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with every purchase you make at Pillow Company. Should you ever feel dissatisfied with a pillow you ordered from us, we will exchange it, replace it or refund your money.

Please return your pillows within 30 days to receive a full refund.

We do not provide pre-paid labels for your returns, we are sorry. Shipping charges for returned items will be the responsibility of the customer.

Once a returned package has been received and inspected at our warehouse, a refund will be processed and automatically applied to the credit card or original method of payment, usually within 48 hours. Please note that depending on your credit card company, it may take an additional 2-10 business days after your credit has been applied for it to post to your account.
