Our cylindrical Bolster Pillow is filled with our airy, 3-dimensional buckwheat hulls OR with tiny, round, and smooth millet hulls. Both fillings are firm, but their texture feels distinctly different.
There is a constant shifting of the hull material as you move while air freely passes through the filling. This constant ventilation of hull pillows keeps them fluffy and fresh. The buckwheat and millet hulls will gently contour your head and neck area and align your spine. They form a firm and comfortable support for you neck as you rest and they retain their form and shape for continued support.
The zippered inner casing allows you to add or remove hulls, to make the Bolster Pillow more pliable and adjust its height for your personal preference. Some people like the Bolster Pillow firm and full, others prefer it more pliable and less high. Both inner casing and outer cover are made of 100% cotton. You can remove hulls for the occasional washing if necessary. Simply pour the hulls temporarily into a container or plastic bag and then put them back once the inner casing has completely dried.
